I’m Dee, the founder of Karya — Form.Function.Flow. and the creator of ROOTED — The Art of Becoming.
For more than twelve years, I have taught yoga as a practice of connection—not only between breath and movement, but between who we are, what we carry and who we are continually becoming. My teaching brings together alignment-based movement with stability, mobility and adaptability in mind, alongside breathwork, restorative practices and reflection. I create space for people to slow down, listen inward and reconnect with what feels essential.
I am deeply passionate about creating and holding spaces that carry a quiet invitation: to arrive as you are, feel at home within yourself and reconnect with your own inner light. Whether through movement, stillness, nature, beauty or community, I believe thoughtfully created experiences can help us feel held, present and open to transformation.
ROOTED grew from that philosophy. Inspired by the cycles of the earth, it is an invitation to be held, nurtured and nourished—to trust, release and renew. Through Karya, I create experiences that honor both stillness and movement, reminding us that becoming is not a destination, but a cycle we return to again and again.
