Donna Dark has been operating her own, sole practitioner business (Lighthouse Advisory Services) since 2016. She enjoys working with human services organisations to improve their governance systems through bespoke, educative reviews.
In her career, Donna has applied her knowledge in various governance roles within disability, aged care, sub-acute care, and primary health services for state-based and national providers. Areas of focus in these roles included quality management, incident management and investigation, business continuity, internal audit, risk management, compliance, and policy governance.
Donna is a current University sessional lecturer and has held roles as a Workshop Facilitator for the Australasian Institute for Clinical Governance. She is also an advisor for MOA Benchmarking for their Disability program. She has been recognised for her ability to communicate effectively with Boards, Executives , Managers, and those staff providing direct services to consumers.
