Mama Omi Iye is a Sydney-based birth and postpartum doula practice dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the transition into parenthood.
Founded by certified birth and postpartum doula Maitê Marchiori, Mama Omi Iye brings together ancestral wisdom, traditional birth practices and evidence-informed education to create nurturing spaces for learning, connection and empowerment.
For our Your Birth workshops, Maitê joins forces with Mara Cunha, founder of Rose Mother Doula Care. Together, they bring over 20 years of combined experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
Drawing on their diverse cultural backgrounds, professional training and hands-on experience, they offer a warm, inclusive and practical approach to birth preparation, helping expectant parents and their partners feel informed, confident and supported.
Through immersive workshops and community gatherings, we believe in making meaningful birth education more accessible while honouring each family's individual journey.
