I am a psychoanalyst, clinical psychologist, Associate Professor, and Director of the MScA Couple and Family Therapy Clinic at McGill University. I have recently released a workbook for couples navigating the impacts of trauma in their relationships: Healing Broken Bonds: A complex trauma couple workbook. I have also published a treatment manual for therapists working with trauma impacted couples: Developmental Couple Therapy for Complex Trauma a Manual for Therapists by Routledge Press.
I have developed a podcast featuring couples dealing with the impacts of complex trauma in their relationships, Healing Broken Bonds with the goal of helping spread useful information about trauma and couple relationships and therapy.
Developmental Couple Therapy for Complex Trauma is an evidence based, psychoanalytically informed treatment approach, which I developed over many years of research and practice, for working with couples dealing with the impacts of complex trauma.
I live and work in the territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka people on MerryMac Farm in Eastern Ontario, Canada, where I strives to live with the land in peace, and to bring healing through therapy offered in relation with my horses, Ojibwe Spirit Ponies, and a cadre of other creatures who bring joy, hilarity, and love to life.
