My career path has been a unique blend of social sciences and marine biology, driven by a deep-seated curiosity about human well-being and the natural world. This diverse background has equipped me with a multifaceted perspective that I now bring to my work as an educator, consultant, and researcher.
I began my academic journey with a bachelor's degree in social work and special education, fueled by a genuine interest in human psychology and societal welfare. This foundation provided me with invaluable insights into human behaviour and social dynamics. Later, I pursued a childhood dream by pivoting to marine biology research. This transition allowed me to explore the wonders of aquatic ecosystems while maintaining my passion for social sciences. Throughout my career in marine biology, I continued to nurture my interest in human-focused disciplines, often incorporating these elements into my teaching and research.
Today, I leverage my diverse skill set to offer a range of services in the social sciences field:
- Teaching: I conduct courses on various specialized topics, including:
- The Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)
- Giftedness and high potential
- The science of happiness
- The Theory of Positive Disintegration
- Dealing with manipulative/toxic people
- Propelling your STEM career
- Personal Support: I provide one-on-one orientation sessions, available both in-person and online, catering to clients in English, French, and German.
- Research: I continue to contribute to the field through ongoing research in social and natural sciences, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
My unique background allows me to approach these subjects with a holistic perspective, combining rigorous academic understanding with real-world insights. I am committed to empowering individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in today's complex social landscape.
