Dr. Zoë Condliffe is a data activist, gender advocate, and program manager for Lift Women, Australia’s female-focused startup accelerator. She brings a wealth of experience in supporting women-led ventures, driving social impact, and innovating data-driven solutions for gender equality. Recognised as the 2024 Data Leader of the Year by Women in Digital, Zoë combines her expertise in storytelling, data, and feminist advocacy to foster environments where female founders can thrive.
Zoë is also the Founder and CEO of She’s A Crowd, home to the world’s largest geospatial database of gender-based violence, designed to empower decision-makers in government, academia, and the private sector with actionable insights. Her work has shaped policy on gender equity and public safety, while her entrepreneurial vision has earned national awards, including the National Telstra Best of Business Award (Accelerating Women) and the Tech Diversity Award in 2022.
Zoë’s commitment to amplifying women’s voices has been at the core of her work, from her early advocacy with Plan International Australia, where she developed Free To Be - a crowdmapping tool for street harassment - to launching She’s A Crowd. Her unique intersection of skills in data activism, gender advocacy, and social impact is now driving Lift Women’s mission to support and scale female-founded businesses across Australia.
