Our goals
- To promote integrated, sustainable and resilient human settlements in Australasia and the Pacific region.
- To
support excellence in planning, design, development and management to
improve the quality of life and sustainability of communities.
- To grow and support EAROPH Australia’s membership base.
- To
develop and share information to facilitate environmentally and
socially responsible investment in sustainable human settlements.
- To
support the implementation, review and reporting of the UN Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) and the New Urban Agenda in Australasia and the
Pacific region.
Our purpose
The purposes of EAROPH Australia are to:
- Consolidate and promote expertise in developing and maintaining sustainable human settlements.
- Provide
a forum for collaboration among governments, the private sector and
civil society in addressing Planning and Human Settlement issues.
- Promote personal professional development of its members to benefit the sustainability of human settlements.
- Facilitate
the exchange of information, experience, ideas and insights among
members for the ongoing improvement of human settlements.
- Foster
links with organisations with similar interests in Australia and
internationally, including other EAROPH National Chapters.
