Trish Flynn has been using traditional textile and basketry techniques to create both practical and sculptural pieces for over 10 years.
Trish’s works include contemporary baskets and sculptural vessels made from natural fibres, including recycled and harvested materials, hemp, linen, paper, handmade string as well as silks and wools dyed by the artist with local plants. Techniques used include cordage, coiling, looping, open paired twining and random weaving.
Trish is a member of both ACT and NSW Basketry, EFTAG and has exhibited regionally and in Canberra.
