Elena Larriba is a Spanish-Australian artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, working across ceramics, drawing and spatial practice.
Drawing on her background in architecture and design, she explores our relationships with objects, materials and the spaces we share. Her work pays particular attention to repair, fragility and the traces of everyday use.
Through projects such as Crackscape, Elena brings handmade ceramics into public space, inviting people to slow down, notice overlooked details and encounter familiar places differently.
