This event sees the Ella Baker School of Organising bring their Overcoming Narratives of Division training to Glasgow, hosted by SEIN and GalGael.
Ella Baker School of Organising have been developing training and resources that draws on concrete examples of struggle here in the UK. They have set out to recruit and train a mass of committed community and industrial organisers using (and sharing) peer-to-peer approaches https://www.ellabakerorganising.org.uk/
SEIN brings together voluntary organisations and community groups, working with local residents from all backgrounds, countries and cultures. These groups provide services from advice & advocacy, to musical activities, to family support - and everything in between.
