Emily Brown is the founder of Culture Kitt, a Melbourne organisation creating accessible, inclusive and joyful cultural experiences. Alongside her work in facilitation and culture, Emily has a long history in music, performing in original bands and in her cabaret, Zirconia.
Emily believes in creating spaces for connection without long term commitment, so people can try something new, meet others and simply enjoy the experience. No auditions, no obligations, just show up and take part.
The Phones Down Series grew from this idea, offering free, immersive experiences that help people reconnect with their creativity and community, away from screens.
