Encore Theatre Academy is a youth arts school in Tasmania, offering young performers aged 6 to 18 a vibrant and inclusive space to grow, explore and thrive.
Students develop skills across acting, voice, singing, dance, musical theatre repertoire and technical theatre, with projects and masterclasses led by leading local artists and industry professionals. The Academy is committed to high-quality training that encourages both artistic excellence and personal confidence.
The Academy is led by Course Leader Andy Prideaux, an established educator, singer-musician and passionate advocate for equality and inclusion. He is joined by Matt Gower, Encore Public Officer, businessman and accomplished musical theatre performer, serving as Co-Chief Operating Officer.
