Ensemble Cherubim was formed in early 2020 by co-Artistic Director’s Clare Cooney and Rory Smith. The chamber ensemble is comprised of young, aspiring, dedicated musician who aim to grace audiences with their energetic, high quality chamber music performances. Ensemble Cherubim was formed to nurture the growth of its musicians in all facets of the chamber music process, from rehearsal to concert and to engage audiences in Brisbane with Chamber Music. The ensemble has achieved great success with sold out concerts and rave reviews from the Brisbane community.
Ensemble Cherubim has performed a regular concert series in many venues across Brisbane. They have also collaborated with Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Fever Entertainment, ChoirWorks and Birralee Voices.
