Environmentally Sustainable HealthCare Aotearoa (ESHCA) is a clinician-led charitable trust dedicated to advancing environmentally sustainable healthcare across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our mission is to educate, connect and empower health professionals to reduce the environmental impact of healthcare while improving patient care, strengthening health system resilience, and supporting healthier communities. We bring together clinicians, researchers, health leaders, educators and sustainability experts to share practical solutions, promote evidence-informed practice, and advocate for policies that support a healthy, equitable and low-carbon healthcare system.
ESHCA provides a collaborative platform for learning, networking and action through webinars, forums, educational resources, and the sharing of successful initiatives from across New Zealand and internationally.
