OUR STORY:
EPIC was founded by Nicole in 2021, when Nicole realised something needed to change in our community. Nicole worked as a Special needs' Education Assistant and Support Worker for 10 years, she found that after leaving school there wasn't a lot of community activities and opportunities for her students to make meaningful connections, make friends, and have a sense of belonging in an inclusive environment.
Over the past 5 years Nicole has worked tirelessly to create an inclusive, happy, and exciting environment that people are eager to come too, it hasn't been a simple or easy process but Nicoles positive attitude and belief in the need for change has made the process and last 5 years incredibly rewarding for both Nicole and her participants. Now, EPIC has grown and more people believe in EPIC's core values and the impact it has on our community, with more members joining. Generosity from local businesses, and amazing volunteers always lending a hand EPIC has become a pillar for inclusivity in the community.
