Equine Welfare New Zealand (EWNZ), formerly Rodney Animal Rescue, is a registered New Zealand charity dedicated to improving the lives of horses in need.
We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses experiencing neglect, hardship or uncertain futures, while also working to improve equine welfare through education, support and early intervention.
What began as a small community rescue has grown into a nationwide network of volunteers, foster homes and supporters helping horses across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Every ticket purchased and fundraiser supported helps us provide the feed, veterinary care, rehabilitation and ongoing support needed to give horses the chance of a better future.
Rescue. Rehabilitate. Educate.
