Witchcliffe is one of nine Australian rural communities selected to take part in the five year Equip program and research study. The focus is building disaster resilience through community connection, well-being and lasting solutions. Fire, flood, drought and unexpected events have an ever increased chance of happening, and when they do, we’re stronger together. Provided free to locals in postcode 6286, Equip will include a local input group, training programme, community events and follow up studies.
Equip is led by the University of New England, with the WA team at Curtin University. The project is supported by the Medical Research Future Fund. All information is confidential and your information will not be released to anyone outside the university research team and Equip Witchcliffe. By completing this registration form you are opting in to receive communications from Equip and Equip Witchcliffe.
