Erotika Dabra is a producer, pole artist, and unapologetic queer force living on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Land, who exists at the intersection of activism, performance, and pure chaotic beauty. A non-binary creator and proud queer advocate, Erotika is featured in Australia’s Marriage Equality history book for their contributions to the movement - an early sign of their lifelong instinct to drag society’s gaze toward what actually matters. Through their events and creative work, they platform issues including domestic violence awareness, women’s rights and safety, queer liberation, environmentalism, and the radical right to self-expression; while also committed to a life-long journey seeking beyond allyship to the First Nation peoples of this land.
Sonically, Erotika Dabra builds worlds for the misfits - the emos, the beautifully unhinged, the ones who find comfort in the discomfort. Their self-appointed EMOTRONIKA (Erotika’s emotional electronica) sound fuses the angst of their emo/grunge/industrial roots with visceral dance-floor catharsis. It’s EDM for anyone who has ever lived in the shadows, loved messily, or felt “too much” in a world that rewards monochromatic numbness.
As a pole dancer, Erotika’s performance work is as loud and liberatory as their music. They opened Mx Pole ACT 2025, have competed in pole competitions that proudly honour the s*x-worker lineage of the art form, and have taken to Canberra Casino as a second home. You can often find them bending gravity at The Brass Room or any space queer enough to handle their magic.
Across music, movement, and activism, Erotika Dabra is building a universe where being perfectly imperfect is the whole point and where every beat, spin, and scream is an invitation to feel more, not less.
