Evelyn Chan is a Sydney-based artist who reinterprets Chinese calligraphy through movement, gesture and emotional space. Her work has been exhibited in Sydney, and she was selected as a finalist in the 2026 Abbotsleigh Grace Cossington Smith Art Award.
Through her workshops, Evelyn introduces participants to Chinese brushwork in a relaxed and accessible way, combining traditional calligraphy techniques with expressive mark-making. Her sessions are beginner-friendly and designed to help participants slow down, explore the brush and enjoy the creative process.
