Hi my name is Felicity. I have spent many years fine tuning my skills and knowledge as a natural therapist since 2002 in the fields of acupuncture, remedial massage, mindfulness meditation, Clinical Somatic Exercise and Sound Healing.
I have trained in Remedial Massage at the Gold Coast Institute of Natural Therapies 2001, and then continued studies in Acupuncture at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (Endeavour) for four years. I then worked in a clinic and hospital at the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University, Nanning, China as a part of my internship.
Being an active meditator since my extensive travels in India starting from when I was 20years old, I later studied many meditation traditions and styles including Unified Mindfulness (Shinzen Young), Goenka Vipassana, MBSR, Vajrayana Buddhism (Dharma Ocean), Insight Meditation Australia, Radical Compassion Institute (Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield), Self Realization Fellowship and Brahma Kumaris.
After exploring somatic mindfulness through the Vajrayana tradition in 2014, I was led to somatic awareness through a therapy called Clinical Somatic Education. Consequently, a somatic approach is a very integral piece to my whole approach to healing. I continue my exploration on a physical, emotional and energetic path in this area and am currently enrolled in Somatic Hakomi Psychotherapy.
In my spare time I am a lover of the ocean, adventures, cultures and travel, live music, dancing and learning classical Indian music.
