I first discovered sourdough during maternity leave, when I found myself drawn to learning the art of natural fermentation. What began as home baking quickly grew into a real passion.
After moving to New Zealand, I continued baking and went on to start a small in-home microbakery in a rural town, sharing sourdough with my local community. It was there that I truly fell in love not just with baking bread, but with the connection it creates with people.
After returning to Australia and settling on the Mornington Peninsula, I now run hands-on, beginner-friendly sourdough workshops where I teach others how to make their own bread from scratch.
My goal is to make sourdough simple, approachable, and something anyone can feel confident doing at home.
