My name is Fiona, and I’m an Artist, Mental Health Support Worker, and Mental Health Advocate, living in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria.
In 2018, I discovered my passion for painting landscape art. As aself-taught artist, I’ve found that being in nature has been incredibly healing, and I love expressing these feelings through my work. My art often focuses on the elements of nature that resonate with me most; trees, skies, and beaches from places I’ve visited. I’m captivated by the changing seasons and the way our environment evolves. Sea’s shifting moods throughout the day. The way trees transform over a lifetime. How grass and leaves change in colour with the seasons. And how the sky can be dull and lifeless one day, then next bright and spectacular the next. What started as a small creative project at home quickly became a healing and empowering journey. There’s something special about getting lost in the creative process, and I’m grateful to share that journey through my art.
