Fleur Elise Noble has been described as a ‘Polymath’ who roams fearlessly between artforms. She was awarded scholarships from art schools in Adelaide and New York, where she studied drawing, painting, and sculpture. She went on to equip herself with a toolkit of creative forces, including puppetry, animation, film, projection, and performance. Best known for her unique visual performances, she has been invited to perform at over 60 arts venues and festivals around the world. Her first major solo productions ‘2-Dimensional Life of Her’ and ‘ROOMAN’ toured to The Barbican in London, The Public Theatre in New York, as well as to LA, Brazil, Iran, South Korea and extensively throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand. ‘2-Dimensional Life of Her’ represented Australia at the World Congress of Theatre for Young People in 2011 and was awarded the 2013 Bessie (New York Dance and Theatre Award) for most Outstanding Visual Design. In 2019 Fleur co-created, co-designed and performed in Windmill Theatre Company’s ‘Creation Creation’, as a part of which, she performed at the Adelaide Festival Centre, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Arts Centre, and State Theatre Centre of WA. Fleur has worked on many other creative arts and community projects. She has worked with SharingStories Foundation as a workshop facilitator, animator and creative producer on their digital storytelling workshops and tours since 2009, the most recent project was presented at the Australian Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. Fleur is currently working on a new major production in collaboration with a group of young people from the Adelaide Hills, exploring how to talk about digital addiction with young people through storytelling and performance.
