Freshwater Community Garden hopes to be a hub for community connection, produce fabulous food and empower people with gardening knowledge and skills, to make the world a better place. This volunteer-run garden in Deception Bay, Queensland, incorporates permaculture principles to create this space, from community consultation, to garden design and informing our decision making processes. With a sustainability focus, organic and regenerative principles are embraced. Composting, worm farming and wicking beds are already up and running. We are offering free community workshops as we continue to create this community garden into a beautiful and abundant space.
