The Friends of Booragoon & Blue Gum Lakes is a community group supported by the City of Melville. The Friends group was formed to conserve and enhance the Reserves at Booragoon and Blue Gum Lakes and to conserve biological diversity. Throughout the year we organise turtle monitoring, weeding, planting, bird surveys, walk & talk tours in partnership with Wirambi Landcare, SERCUL and Saving Our Snake-Necked Turtle (SOSNT).
