Bianca Welsh is an experienced Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor and has delivered over 25 courses, mostly to the tourism and hospitality industry but to all sorts of businesses and people such as MONA, Rae and Partners Law Firm, Willie Smiths and Du Cane.
Bianca is a restaurateur with over 15 years of experience as a business owner and human resources manager. She graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from UTAS in 2018 and became a MHFA instructor in 2021. She is passionate about mental health and wellness and educating others about the impact of mental illness and how workplaces can positively support people.
Having a lot of lived experience with mental illness both personally and through her workplace, Bianca also is a go to advocate for what a mentally healthy workplace looks like, topics such as baby loss, grief, trauma, racism, women in leadership and adoption just to name a few!
MHFA is a course she truly believes in will change lives and save lives. The practical nature of what is taught is what keeps her wanting to deliver this to as many people as she can!
