Gallery 1261 is a Denver gallery dedicated to artistic expression without the constraints of traditional marketability. Located in the Golden Triangle Museum District, two blocks from the Denver Art Museum, we share our space with Abend Gallery.
Founded in 2004 by gallery owner Chris Mileham, illustrator David Uhl, and artist Quang Ho, Gallery 1261 gives artists room to show their work without restraint. Programming is guided by Quang Ho, bringing together standout work from international and local artists.
As curator Quang Ho puts it: "It's about the art. It's about pure artistic expression."
