Gals by the River
Gals by the River is a shared exhibition of women artists coming together for the Lava Festival in Wollumbin, on Bundjalung Country. Set within a charming riverside manor, the space starts in the garden then unfolds room by room, each holding a different atmosphere.
Sculpture, mosaics, painting, jewellery and more are woven throughout the house and garden, inviting visitors to move, pause and discover.
A workshop space sits at the river’s edge, offering a place for making, gathering and connection.
This exhibition is an experience. A place to wander, to feel, and to meet the work of local women in an intimate and evolving space
