With enchanting, smooth vocals and rich acoustic guitar playing, Georgia Scarlett has crafted a unique and captivating sound. From a young age, she has been building a following across Brisbane playing a variety of folky covers and original music inspired by artists such as Billie Marten, Lisa Mitchell, and Missy Higgins. Georgia's mission as an artist is to create and share music which connects to her audience through storytelling. As described by Keith Urban, Georgia is in "a lane of her own", utilising a combination of folk, country and indie styles.
At the age of 18, she wrote her debut album ‘Rhythm of Life’, which is now being recorded in studios across Australia – 7 songs recorded at Forbes Street Studios in Sydney. Her personal work often falls under a folk music genre, utilising raw acoustic instruments such as guitar, voice, strings, clarinet, flute, and piano.
