Glenn Russo has been practising Nonviolent Communication for over 13 years, and for seven years co-facilitated a fortnightly NVC practice group in Castlemaine with his partner. He's spent the last seven years in Miki Kashtan's Responding to the Call of Our Times leadership programme, alongside a longer background in presence practice, Stoicism and Buddhist non-attachment.
Five years ago he moved to three days a week in his job - he's a Senior IT Cloud Engineer - specifically to give more time to this work: reading, practising, and testing it in his own relationships, family and community.
He isn't a therapist, a counsellor or a coach, and he isn't building a business. These sessions are free because he wants to make this available to the widest audience, not based on affordability.
He is specifically looking to find people who take this seriously and want to build capacity together.
The practice draws on Miki Kashtan's Restoring Choice Using NVC learning packet, on Marshall Rosenberg's work, and on the Pathways to Liberation self-assessment framework.
