Run as a social enterprise by YMCA Cheshire, GLO Café provides training and work-experience opportunities for young people, service users, and volunteers, while raising vital funds to support the wider work of YMCA Cheshire. Every coffee poured and every meal served helps change lives.

Our Purpose
GLO Café exists to create opportunities. The café provides practical training, confidence-building, and employability skills for YMCA Cheshire service users and volunteers. All profits are reinvested directly into YMCA Cheshire, helping us support young people, tackle homelessness, and invest in futures across our community.
GLO Café Soireés - Fine Dining for a Cause
On the first Friday of every month, we host our GLO Café Soirée, a fine-dining fundraising evening designed to give our young people hands-on experience in a more formal restaurant setting.
Each Soireé includes:
A delicious three-course meal
Bring-your-own drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
The opportunity to hear directly from YMCA Cheshire staff about the impact of our work in the local community
