Nathan Lyon co-founded GOATD as a place to share the behind-the-scenes of his career along with the people who have helped him be successful.
The name is a play on his nickname "The GOAT" handed to him by his team mates and the idea of a Goatdverse is a nod to Nathan sharing his universe.
Nathan say "when you grow up in regional Australia, you understand that resources are often distant. Young players and their families need all the support they can get and I want to play my bit."

Nathan joins forces with David Stewart, a 35 year coaching and leadership veteran, to share an experience designed to impact not just young athletes but entire communities.
The team deliver 3 specially tailored events to 3 interconnected groups all influencing the future of emerging sports talent and leadership in Australia.
David says "leadership doesn’t exist in isolation. If you only speak to young people, but not the leaders above them, or the parents and coaches shaping them, you miss the system".
