Who we are
Grad Girls, a free 8-month program by Women4STEM, supports and empowers women and gender-diverse STEM students, bridging the gap between studies and their career. This program is available to female and non-binary students who are interested in a career in Tech. Open to university, TAFE and bootcamp students, the initiative aims to actively boost gender diversity within the tech sector, promoting an inclusive environment and an enhanced workforce.
About the program
Grad Girls offers our participants direct interactions with sponsors, hiring managers and industry professionals through in-person and virtual events over the course of 8 months. We help Grad Girls upskill their employability skills by teaching them how to network, and to understand that talking about their personal achievements is a GOOD thing and not something to be embarrassed about; we also teach Grad Girls the practical career skills in tailoring their CVs, LinkedIn profile and practicing their interview skills. Participants graduate with enhanced employability skills and established professional and peer support networks; equipping them with a robust foundation to jumpstart their tech careers.
