Graham Thorburn has had a distinguished career in film and television, primarily as a director. He directed over 70 hours of prime-time TV drama, created and directed BEATBOX and produced COUNTDOWN. He served as the third President of the Australian Screen Directors Association and held various executive roles for a decade. Graham was Head of Directing and later Head of Teaching at AFTRS for 11 years, having also taught screen acting, writing, and directing at UTS and NIDA. He chaired several international curriculum and assessment panels and remains one of Australia's most respected screen educators.
