Grandcarers SA is a not-for-profit organisation that supports informal grandparent and kinship carers who have stepped in to provide full-time primary care to their family’s children.
These grandcarers are not included in the traditional ‘child placement system’ and have no legal parental status or statutory recognition.

We seek to empower grandcarers to achieve positive outcomes for themselves and the children in their care, and work tirelessly for their recognition.
