Great Southern Dance is a professional dance company home-based in nipaluna/Hobart, lutruwita/Tasmania, the southern capital of the southern-most state of a continent in the southern hemisphere.
We offer our DanceWillSaveTheWorld classes weekly when we are not creating interdisciplinary professional dance that blends choreography and topography for live performance and film.
Since 2019 Great Southern Dance has employed established artists and developed talent pathways for emerging ones, buoyed by diverse and intergenerational community connections at home and beyond.
