The Griffith University Muslim Students Association (GUMSA) is the official student body representing Muslim students at Griffith University, Queensland. GUMSA aims to foster a welcoming, inclusive and faith-affirming community where Muslim students can connect, grow and thrive throughout their university journey.
GUMSA supports students across their spiritual, social and academic lives through Islamic educational programs, halaqahs, social events, community initiatives, Ramadan activities, sporting events, networking opportunities and advocacy. GUMSA also focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for students to build friendships, develop leadership skills and engage with the wider Muslim community.
At its heart, GUMSA is about community, faith, belonging and service... providing a space where students can practise their faith, build lifelong connections and contribute positively to both the Griffith community and the wider society. Illuminate your university life through our GUMSA Noor Membership.
