Gun Fu is an experimental jazz group with influence from Malian Kora music, Nigerian Afro-Beat, Afro-Cuban jazz, Chinese erhu music & the New York downtown jazz & No-Wave scenes of the 80s. The band's set will consist of the recital and improvisational exploration of Benjamin Witt's (Romeo Walker) original compositions written for the "Mod Dogs" painting exhibition by Stephen Brameld and Jay Staples. Alongside Witt, the band consists of Perth jazz heavyweights Harry Mitchell, Ben VanDerwal, Jayden Blockley and Marc Earley.
