Hear No Evil - Australian Deaf Dog Rescue is a volunteer-run rescue dedicated to giving deaf, blind and special needs dogs a second chance at life.
Founded in 2014, Hear No Evil operates Australia-wide through a network of dedicated foster carers, volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs that are often overlooked in shelters and pounds.
While specialising in deaf and special needs dogs, Hear No Evil believes that every dog deserves the opportunity to live a safe, happy and fulfilling life, regardless of their disability, breed, age or background.
The organisation provides foster care, veterinary treatment, behavioural support, adopter education and ongoing after-adoption assistance to ensure every dog has the best chance of success in their new home.
Beyond rescue work, Hear No Evil is passionate about educating the community and working alongside other rescue organisations to raise awareness about the incredible potential of deaf, blind and special needs dogs. Through advocacy, education and collaboration, we aim to challenge misconceptions and help more people see these dogs for what they truly are - capable, resilient and loving companions.
Over the years, Hear No Evil has helped hundreds of dogs find loving families while building a stronger understanding of special needs dogs within the rescue community and beyond.
