Heidi Emma is an Australian artist, residing in Dunsborough in the Margaret River Region of WA.
Heidi’s creative expression focuses on compositions of still life and landscapes local to her home in the Margaret River Region of WA. Heidi revels in transposing what she sees into painted form. Her work is about tonal impressionism; taking the real and giving it texture, feeling and atmosphere. Realistic from a distance and painterly when viewed up close.
She believes that light and contrast is what makes art interesting and beautiful.
Heidi’s work is known for a clean, calm, delicious colour palette and handles oils differently, with many being surprised that that is her main medium as it has a lightness about it not always associated with oils.
You can find a selection of Heidi's prints, tea towels and greeting cards at Rivendell Winery where she runs her workshops, Seachange newsagency in Dunsborough, and Flametree Winery. Original oil paintings for the serious art collector can be found at The Studio Gallery in Marrinup who represent her work, or via appointment with Heidi for her private collection of available works.
Heidi’s favourite thing about meeting her collectors is seeing people have emotional responses to her work; beaches where memories were made and objects that stir up personal connections. Its in that moment that she realises she was meant to paint that subject just for them.
She has some workshops running throughout the year or takes private bookings, so come and create your own masterpiece with Heidi and immerse yourself in a creative experience!
Please note that you can view Heidi’s works by appointment should you wish and meet Heidi in person. Just get in touch via social media or her website.
