Founded with a vision to bring people together through the power of live performance, Hilltop is more than just a music festival — it’s a grassroots gathering that showcases the rich talent and creativity of our region.
Held annually in one of Victoria’s most scenic locales, Hilltop features an eclectic mix of artists spanning folk, roots, indie, blues, and beyond. From emerging local acts to well-loved favourites, our lineup is carefully curated to reflect the diverse spirit of our hills community. But music is only part of the story — Hilltop also offers market stalls, delicious local food and drink and family-friendly activities.
Hilltop is proudly run as a fundraiser for the Monbulk College Music Department, with all proceeds supporting music education, instruments, and performance opportunities for local students as well as arts and First Nations education initiatives across the school. Sustainability and community are at the heart of everything we do. We champion local businesses, promote eco-friendly practices, and create a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
