Hamilton
Downs Youth Camp is part of the original Hamilton Downs Station and
was developed by the Apex Club of Central Australia as an outdoor
educational facility. We are a not for profit organisation.
The camp offers camping facilities primarily for school and youth groups, however all visitors are welcome.
Located
75km from Alice Springs the Hamilton Downs Youth Camp allows teachers
to take students from the class room to the outdoors for a day or an
extended period with outdoor and environmental programs that aim to
expand their knowledge, understanding and interaction with the Central
Australian environment.
The homestead is comprised of five heritage-listed buildings which were constructed between 1910 and 1923.
