HYPOTHEkids is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, Math) education and youth development nonprofit that supports K-12 underrepresented students from low-income communities across New York City. Our vision is to create a STEAM talent pipeline that is representative of the diversity of NYC. We provide our students with engaging hands-on STEAM education and internship experiences to support the next generation of scientists and engineers.
HYPOTHEkids was founded in 2013 as the outreach arm of NYC’s first affordable biotech incubator for early stage life science companies, Harlem Biospace. To date, we have served over 20,000 young people.
