About the IFS
Established in 2012, the Illawarra Film Society (IFS) is a not-for-profit organisation which hosts approximately 500 members each year. We are one of the largest film societies in Australia!
We screen a diverse range of films at the Gala Cinema, Warrawong, on screening Sundays. Our programme includes recent independent Australian and international features and documentaries, short films, and a selection of modern classics. The IFS is a member of the Australian Film Societies Federation.
Annual membership of $99 entitles you to the following benefits:
- 30+ films each year
- two wine and food nights
- the possibility of film directors and /or special guests attending for Q&A of the film
