The Indigenous Carbon Industry Network (ICIN) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal-owned charitable organisation that supports the Indigenous carbon industry in Australia. It is an industry peak body including 23 Indigenous land and sea management organisations which are creating economic, social, and environmental benefits through their own carbon projects that value the climate benefits of savanna fire management and land restoration.
The network provides a point of contact for policies impacting the Indigenous carbon industry, supports knowledge sharing through events, working groups and updates, and is committed to ensuring Indigenous groups right across Australia are well-positioned to understand and maximise the benefits from carbon projects for their country and community.
