The New Zealand IoT Alliance was launched in 2017 and is governed by an independent Executive Council. Our key purpose is to actively contribute to the prosperity of New Zealand through accelerating the uptake of IoT. We aim to accelerate IoT innovation by promoting collaboration across industry and government. We endeavour to identify strategic opportunities for economic growth.
The New Zealand IoT Alliance also provides thought leadership for the sector. On formation, the Alliance undertook a major research project and published The Internet of Things – Accelerating a Connected New Zealand.
Following the report’s publication, key working groups were identified to further advance IoT.
