Issy is a transmasc non-binary artist who specialises in cabaret, industrial tap dance, musical theatre and general silliness. Most recently, Issy has produced, written and performed their original cabaret ‘Issy Coomber: Assigned Puppet At Birth’ at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2026. Their notable previous credits include Sasha in A Transgender Woman on the Internet Crying (Adelaide Cabaret Festival, dir. Brittany Shipway), The Bride of Frankenstein in Universal Monsters Live: Rock and Roll Show (Universal Studios Japan, dir. Ryan Wilson), and Student/Cook in Innocence (State Opera South Australia, dir. Simon Stone). Issy is currently studying his Bachelor of Musical Theatre at Elder Conservatorium of Music and has previously obtained a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
