JarSquad is a creative social-permaculture-based venture using food as a lever for social and climate change in Plymouth. We bring people together to tackle food waste and social isolation, reconnect with nature and food heritage, and build community-led responses to the cost-of-living crises. As a 'squad' we cook together to preserve rescued or foraged food, to practice sharing ingredients, recipes, and know-how by making jams and preserves as a ‘squad’.
Our delicious products are available via barter, donation or as gifts.
