Jemma has lived a full colourful life involving many ups, downs and back up agains. She has accomplished 31 years of a highly successful career in the early childhood education sector alongside a life of partying hard, training hard and living fast. After losing her Mum to cancer at 15 years of age which left her with practically no adult guidance from 16 years old. She managed to find a career path she loved, put herself through 4 years of part-time TAFE while working fulltime. She then completed a Bachelor of Teaching, went on to be a general manager, consultant, political advisor, working across many states of Australia and internationally.
After decades of working hard, partying, recreational drug taking, binge drinking, abusive and violent relationships and self-destructive behaviour Jemma embarked on a new journey seeking something better for herself. Gradually, she learned to love herself.
In the last 12 years, Jemma has been committed to self-inquiry and personal transformation, evolving over time with more compassionate, conscious ways of living, learning and loving.
In the last 3 years, Jemma has moved out of the city and lives off-grid in a caravan on 40 acres. She has retrained as a children’s and adult's yoga teacher and breath-work facilitator and has a passion for inspiring others to grow, learn and develop healthier, happier ways of being and belonging. Jemma is gracefully returning to her true authentic self by shining a light on her shadows, forgiving herself and stripping back the masks and layers we learn to wear, to ‘fit-in’ to societies ways.
