Jeremy Rose is a Sydney-based saxophonist, composer, educator and arts leader whose work sits at the intersection of jazz, contemporary music and cross-cultural collaboration. An ARIA-award-winning artist, Jeremy has spent more than two decades shaping Australia’s improvised music scene through his projects, recordings and international performances.
He is the founder and director of Earshift Music, an independent record label that champions innovative Australian artists and has released over 100 albums since 2009. As a bandleader and collaborator, Jeremy has led numerous ensembles including The Vampires, Disruption!, Vazesh, Visions of Nar, and Project Infinity, performing at major festivals and venues across Australia, Europe and Asia.
Alongside his performing career, Jeremy is a Lecturer in Music Industry at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (University of Sydney), where he mentors emerging artists and explores new models for sustainable creative careers. His work often bridges artistic practice, research and community-building, reflecting a deep commitment to supporting the next generation of musicians.
